I needed a break from drawing mecha blowing each other to bits... so I finally got around to finishing a pic that has been on the back burner for quite awhile.

Image is based off of some of the ordinary daily life scenes I saw in my Summer in Japan. Just some typical school girls beating the brutal humid heat with the aid of a convenient beverage vending machine.

Media is a hybrid of traditional Copic Inks and Photoshop Colouration.

I hope you all enjoy it, Print is available! :D

This is quite nice :) My friend and co-studio writer, who's teaching in Japan right now, would dig this. Just has a really nice, somewhat ghibli feel.

That looks so...so...lovely. The pastel tones, the delicacy of the background (very pretty, must say) and the girls' pose are just adorable. That's just a characteristic of your work, sweetness.

Also, I think you're waiting for someone to ask... what are they saying? And what does the advertisement say? And do those girls really use those short minikirts? o.o
