I have had the idea for this image nearly as long as I have had the character of the "Cute Reaper". I only just now got it down on paper though (not really paper, but, you know...). Hopefully the back story is clear... if I did my job well, it is. ^^; Its supposed to be poignant.

*feels slightly ridiculous when ever he uses the word "poignant"*

Wow, this is the first full sized, fully rendered, and full color image I have submitted in over a YEAR!!! WTF!?

Excellent!! You had precisely the experience I was trying to create! Not that I want to make you sad exactly... simply, I wanted that juxtaposition and delayed realization of the images truly sad subject. Thank you, your comment made my day :)
